GETTING TO FROM THE CONVENTION CENTER

The MLK Lobby Entrance is the only available entrance for AHIP 2023.

From the Airport

Complimentary Shuttle Buses

AHIP will provide shuttle bus service between the convention center and Five (5) of the conference hotels. See the hotel list below for details. Shuttle buses will run every 15–20 minutes and run prior to the start of the conference each day, and through the last event each day. Pickup/Dropoff locations are the hotel entrances and the Oregon Convention Center MLK Entrance. Detailed schedules and hours are provided below. Look for the Bus Schedule sign in each of the Five (5) hotels lobbies or ask the Front Desk or Bellman for the exact pickup/drop off location.

  • Hyatt Regency Portland Convention Center – walkable, 1 block to the convention center. Shuttle service will not be provided.
  • Hotel Eastlund – walkable, 1 block to the convention center. Shuttle service will not be provided.

Shuttle Bus Hours:

Buses run every 15–20 minutes. Pickup/Dropoff locations are the hotel entrances and the Oregon Convention Center MLK Entrance.

Route 1:

  • Doubletree by Hilton Portland – walkable to the convention center, 1 stop on light rail, and conference shuttle bus service available. At Banquet Entrance.
  • Courtyard Portland Downtown Convention Center – walkable to the convention center and conference shuttle bus service available. Just outside driveway on Wasco St.

Route 2:

  • The Benson Hilton, Curio Collection by Hilton – conference shuttle bus service available and accessibility to light rail. Front loading zone of the hotel.
  • The Bidwell, Portland Marriott City Center – conference shuttle bus service available and accessibility to light rail.
  • Courtyard by Marriott Portland City Center – conference shuttle bus service available and accessibility to light rail. Front of the hotel, at SW 6th Avenue and Oak Street.

Driving/Parking

  • The Oregon Convention Center has underground parking. The primary entrance is on NE First Avenue (level P2). Overflow parking is available at the entrance on NE Lloyd Boulevard (level P1).

  • The garage opens at 6 am and parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. The standard daily parking rate is $12. Overnight parking is not permitted.
  • Both levels of the garage have accessibility parking, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Click here for details.

  • Metered spots are also available within three blocks of the Oregon Convention Center.
  • You may see independent lots advertising Convention Center parking. They are not associated with the convention Center.

Additional Options

  • TriMet MAX Light Rail – complimentary light rail passes are available when you pick up your registration badge. Light Rail details and the TriMet trip planner are available here.
  • City Buses – TriMet’s Bus Line No. 6 stops at the MLK Lobby Entrance, which is the only available entrance for AHIP 2023.
  • Streetcar – The Central Loop stops at the MLK Lobby Entrance, which is the only available entrance for AHIP 2023.
