The conference industry has seen an uptick in companies targeting both conference attendees and sponsors, suggesting they have conference attendee lists to rent or sell.
AHIP DOES NOT SELL OR RENT ITS CONFERENCE LISTS. If you receive unsolicited communications about purchasing or renting AHIP lists, those companies/individuals are not affiliated with AHIP. An influx of companies using technology to build “similar” conference lists and fraudulently market them as an official list has become a popular scam affecting the conference industry.
Personal Information
AHIP communicates primarily through e-mail regarding events and never asks for your personal information beyond what’s collected during the online registration process. AHIP does not store credit card information.
Sponsorship / Exhibit Add-Ons
AHIP does not contract with outside companies to “upsell” sponsors and exhibitors. Each sponsor and exhibitor have an AHIP Business Development Representative who works directly with that company. Sponsors and exhibitors: if you’d like to upgrade your conference participation, please contact your representative directly or email BusinessDevelopment@ahip.org.
