About This Webinar

Menopause, often referred to euphemistically as “the change of life,” is a major health milestone impacting women. Calling it a “change” is an understatement: The myriad of physical, mental, and emotional shifts that occur during menopause can profoundly impact a woman’s productivity, self-esteem, and quality of life. Pelvic health issues during menopause are particularly challenging due to stigma, embarrassment and limited access to care.

This webinar will include an overview of the stages of menopause and the impact on women’s pelvic health. The reduction in estrogen caused by menopause impacts physical symptoms, such as the weakening of pelvic-floor muscles and tissues. This often results in unintentional bladder or bowel leakage. An increase in laxity can also lead to pelvic organ prolapse, wherein these organs drop into the vaginal canal.

While these symptoms are frequently overlooked and deprioritized, addressing them with pelvic-health care can significantly improve health, productivity, and quality of life. Bloom is a transformative digital pelvic-health solution that members can access from the comfort of home. This webinar will address how Bloom is helping women improve their pelvic health with at-home, digital pelvic therapy. October 18th is Menopause Awareness Day and October is Menopause Awareness Month.
