Paul Giger, MD, MBA
Medical Director, Behavioral Health, Providence Health Plan
Dr. Paul Giger has served Providence since 2005. Currently, he is the Medical Director of Behavioral Health at Providence Health Plan. Before joining the Health Plan, he held the position of Senior Regional Medical Director for Portland Medical Group’s (PMG) Behavioral Health. In that role, Paul provided clinical leadership for the Oregon Region’s development of Behavioral Health Services and managed the clinical and financial performance of PMG Behavioral Health medical group.
Dr. Giger earned his medical degree at the University of Arizona and subsequently completed Internal Medicine and Psychiatry Residencies at OHSU. He also serves on the Board of Cascadia Behavioral Health and was recently appointed to the Oregon Commission on Autism.
