Melissa Fredericks

Melissa Fredericks is a Regional Vice President in Centene’s actuarial services department. In that role, she oversees the actuarial and analytic support for Centene’s Medicaid health plans in 30 states. She works closely with Centene’s policy and government relations teams to determine the impact of proposed rules and regulations. Her role also includes assessing new business opportunities and analyzing product performance. Prior to joining Centene, Melissa was a principal and consulting actuary with a national consulting firm. She specialized in rate setting and strategy for Medicare Advantage and Medicaid plans, special needs populations, and provider risk plans. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and has a BS from Union College in Schenectady, NY.
