Jerold Mammano

Jerry Mammano is the Northeast Division President for Aetna Medicaid. In this role, Jerry oversees Aetna’s Medicaid health plans in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia. This includes oversight responsibility for Medicaid, Long-term Services and Support, ACA Expansion, Dual Eligible and Children’s Health Insurance programs. Before this role, Jerry spent 2 years as chief executive officer of Aetna Better Health of Virginia and 2 ½ years as chief operating officer of Aetna Better Health of New Jersey.

Before joining Aetna, Jerry held various senior-level financial roles at TIAA, a fortune 100 financial services organization and global asset manager. During his 13 years, Jerry was responsible for business-related financial management and accounting operations for various non-profit, for-profit, domestic, and global businesses including 4 SEC registered investment advisors. Prior to TIAA, Jerry spent nearly 8 years at Horizon NJ Health, New Jersey’s largest Medicaid Managed Care Organization holding various financial roles including chief financial officer.

Jerry earned an MBA from Simon Business School at the University of Rochester and received a bachelor’s degrees in Accounting from St. Thomas University. In addition, Jerry is a CPA
