Holly D’Amico serves as Vice President of Clinical Services Engagement and Education at Highmark. Prior to joining Highmark in late 2016, Holly spent the majority of her career overseeing Utilization Management, Social Service, Transitions of Care, and Denial Prevention and Management at Excela Health System and Pennsylvania Mountains Health Care Alliance. Holly holds a BSN from Penn State University and an MBA with specialization in Healthcare Administration from Seton Hill University. She previously served as Chair of faculty for CMS’s Community Care Transitions Program and the American Red Cross Board of Directors in her community. She is a thought leader, responsible for strategic and operational initiatives such as establishing the Integrated Care Team, the Expedited Authorization (Gold Card) Program, and Utilization Management Transformation. In her current role, she works closely with providers and Health Plan leaders to simplify administrative tasks associated with prior authorization using data and analytics to drive change.
