Chris Johnson, RPh, MS, is the Executive Director of Pharmacy for Indiana University Health Plans, overseeing the pharmacy benefit programs for the Health Plan’s Medicare, Federal Employee, Commercial, and Self-funded lines of business. Before coming to IU Health Plans, Chris was the Chief of Staff for the Family and Social Services Administration, State of Indiana, 2014-2017, and served for 5 years as the Pharmacy Director for the Indiana Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning.
He has more than 25 years’ experience leading PBM initiatives for Medicaid Managed Care Plans and well as supporting implementation and management services for Medicaid pharmacy benefit programs in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma.
