Tanya Burgess is an Assistant General Counsel for Guidewell and Florida Blue. For three years, she has been providing counsel to the business and IT Teams to ensure payer regulatory requirements are met in a way that is efficient, effective, and compliant with the law.
Prior to her current role, she managed the Compliance and Privacy programs for a large TPA. Tanya is a graduate of the Georgia State University College of Law’s health law program, and she holds the CIPP/US and CIPM privacy credentials from IAPP. She is also an avid reader, which really helps when she needs to consume voluminous and complex health IT regulations.
