Stephanie Gutendorf
Senior Vice President, Homeward
Stephanie Gutendorf is Senior Vice President of Market Strategy and Development at Homeward. In her role, Stephanie leads Homeward’s market strategy, including in new and existing markets, to manage care in rural populations.
Prior to joining the founding Homeward team, Stephanie served as Senior Vice President of Partnerships at GRAIL, an American biotechnology company whose mission is to detect cancer early, when it can be cured. Under Stephanie’s leadership, GRAIL became the first liquid biopsy company to break into both the employer market and Medicare Advantage and rapidly expanded access of its cancer detection technology to hundreds of thousands of Americans and United Kingdom citizens.
Before joining the GRAIL leadership team, Stephanie served as Senior Vice President of Health Services and Medicare Market at Livongo, and eventually Teladoc following the merger in August 2020. As Senior Vice President, Stephanie was responsible for leading strategic and commercial health plan segment leadership, developing virtual health strategies for health plan channels including commercial ASO, fully insured and government markets. In addition, Stephanie led Livongo’s efforts to become the first digital health company to undergo Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) accreditation, a critical milestone and differentiator for the company and industry.
Prior to joining Livongo, Stephanie held several roles at The Advisory Board Company and kickstarted her career in transforming and innovating public health as a Fellow at the Global Health Council, funded by the Gates Family Foundation, supporting healthcare advocacy and health equity efforts focused on improving access to HIV medications for people living in Africa. Her work in Washington, D.C. laid the foundation for Stephanie’s long-term commitment to advocating for increasing access to innovative care and improving equity, a common thread throughout her career.
